It all started . . .

It all started with the idea of “I think it would be fun to be able to make the boys’ cookies for their birthdays”. (Of course this comes from me being a pretty crafty person and determined to do whatever I put my mind to.)

Then found a cookie class close by and text my friend Ilana to go with me. Luckily she said yes!! (Side note: we even accidentally dressed alike the day we went to the class together 😂)

After that class I fell in love!! But life happens and things got busy.

Fast forward over a year later and I decided I was going to start “practicing” making cookies for Hudson’s birthday that was in July.

Made my first set- disaster! The cookies spread while baking and the shapes were horrible. I gave up. (I didn’t know the fridge trick at that point.)

2nd batch, the icing wasn’t the right consistency and I didn’t know enough about it so I gave up after the icing ran all over them. (My mom was there and I will say it was not my finest moment of frustration)

After many many Instagram videos and some blog reading I tried for a 3rd batch. Not too bad!!

From then on it just took off!! I showed pics to my friends and they said I should post them. “Ok. Ok. Fine. I’ll post them.”

Then I got some messages of “Are you selling these?” And “Love these can you make me some?” . . .

then ❤️NSweets was created!!!

A few other names were in the mix but

❤️NSweets was the winner!

I started doing cookies once my 2 boys (at the time) went to bed. Things got busier and life got even better! Now with my amazing man and 3 incredible boys, I still get to do cookies!! I always joke that I would love to “retire” from my career job and make “cookier” my full time job, but not quite yet!

I am a behavior analyst and absolutely love what I do helping schools and families with behavioral needs. And a lot of time and school went into that too! Maybe one day!

Until then, I will enjoy making cookies for my absolutely fantastic customers and getting to be a part of tons of special days in their lives 😊😊 (that’s my favorite part)
